Amy Lynn Gill
Amy Lynn Gill, age 49, was a beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Amy was one of a kind. She was a bright light to everyone she met. Kind, considerate, loyal, funny, and genuine, Amy was a true gem. The world needs more people like Amy Lynn.
Amy dedicated her life to the Hazlet School District, where she taught for over 24 years in the Special Education Program. She was not only a teacher but also a coach, creating and leading the swim program at Raritan High School. Amy's dedication and impact were recognized when she was honored as Teacher of the Year twice in her career. She touched the lives of countless children, parents, and co-workers throughout her time at Hazlet. Her loss will be deeply felt by the entire community. She also volunteered her time for many years to the Special Olympics Organization of Monmouth & Ocean County.
In her free time, Amy was dedicated to health and wellness. She was a member of several gyms, where her constant motivation and encouragement will be sorely missed. During the summer months, Amy gave private swim lessons to children in the community. She also organized and spearheaded family gatherings at Aunt Debby's Beach in Sea Bright. Amy was an avid supporter of the NJRC Swim Club, where her daughter Hayden is achieving great success.
Please remember Amy Lynn Gill for the incredible person she was and the love and joy she brought to the world. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
